Cancellation Policy

The cancellation, return and refund policy is the scheme provided on jagran ONDC platform available at https://shopondc.indiastack.cloud/ (the “ONDC Platform”) in relation to the products being sold on the ONDC Platform (“Products”). This cancellation, return and refund policy (“Policy”) lays down the mechanism in which an order placed by a customer (“User”) on the ONDC Platform can be cancelled by the User or the supplier or by jagran.

I. Cancellation by the User:

a) When can the User cancel an order?
The User can cancel an order after the order has been placed through the ONDC Platform and before the order has been dispatched by the Supplier.

b) How can the User cancel an order?
In order to cancel, the User can go to ‘My Orders’ in your ‘Profile’. Once you are redirected to the My Orders page, click on the order of the product that you want to cancel. Click on cancel Order and provide the reason for the cancellation from the options provided.

c) What are the reasons due to which the User may cancel the order?
The User may cancel the order for the following reasons if such cancellation is permitted by the Supplier’s cancellation policy. Since cancellation policies may vary from Supplier to Supplier, please go through the relevant cancellation policy for more details.

II. Cancellation by the Supplier:

a) When can the Supplier cancel an order which has been placed?
The Supplier can only cancel an order within the timeline specified in the Supplier’s own cancellation policy.

b) What are the reasons due to which the supplier may cancel the order?
The Supplier may cancel an order for the following reasons:
i. If the ordered Product is not available with the Supplier anymore;
ii. If the ordered Product is out of stock with the Supplier;
iii. If the Supplier is unable to dispatch the order in time; and/or
iv. For any other reason as may be specified in the Supplier’s cancellation policy.
III. Cancellation by jagran

a) When can jagran cancel an order which has been placed?
jagran can cancel the order anytime from the date on which the order has been placed till delivery of the Product to the User.

b) What are the reasons due to which jagran may cancel the order?
jagran may cancel the order for the following reasons:
i. If the delivery of the Product has been unsuccessful and the Product has been returned to the Supplier.

ii. If the Product has been lost during transit.

iii. If jagran did not get a payment confirmation.

iv. If the shipping address or billing address provided by the User is incomplete or incorrect.

v. If the Supplier is unable to dispatch the order because of regulatory lockdown or other restrictions.

vi. If the order has been auto cancelled by the system due to high risk of Product returning back to the Supplier;

vii. If the Supplier does not meet jagran policies of fair business practices;

viii. If jagran does not get User confirmation during delivery;

ix. If jagran is unable to fulfil the order due to other reasons; or

x. If jagran wants to cancel for any reason which jagran may deem appropriate
